TOWN OF VERMONT Plan Commission SPECIAL MEETING
November 6, 2006 – 7:30 p.m. – 4017 County Hwy JJ
CALL TO ORDER AND POSTING CERTIFICATION
The meeting was called to order by Mark Sherven at 7:30 p.m. Johanna Solms certified the meeting notice had been posted at the Black Earth State Bank, Amcore Bank in Mt. Horeb, on the front door of the Town Hall and on the town website,
www.townofvermont.com and published in the News Sickle Arrow and Mount Horeb Mail.Members present: Mark Sherven, Barbara Grenlie, Donald McKay, Eric Haugen, Jim Elleson, Bruce Ellarson and Johanna Solms.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Mark Sherven stated the purpose of the meeting to be to continue work on development of the proposed comprehensive plan.
Approval of Minutes
Moved by Jim Elleson seconded by Don McKay and carried to approve the minutes of the October 2, 2006 special meeting.
DISCUSSION
Barbara Borns appeared as president of Black Earth Creek Watershed Association and as a town resident to invite an official representative to attend the "Good Neighbors meetings" among the communities in the BE creek watershed. Eric Haugen volunteered to attend; Jim Elleson will be his backup.
The commission continued its extensive discussion of the siting issue, including clustering and ridgetop protection.

The next special meeting will be on December 4, 2006 at 7:30 pm.

Moved by Barbara Grenlie seconded by Jim Elleson and carried to adjourn the meeting at 10:30 p.m.
